After completing her DOMS, She started working in Narayana Nethralaya. She handled general ophthalmology initially. Later developed an interest in squint and paedaitric ophthalmology. She deals with refractive errors in children, prescription of glasses. Children’s eye are just not a smaller version of adult eyes. During the stage of development, the eyes are prone to develop amblyopia or lazy eye if not treated at the right time. The refractive error to be treated in children is different from adults. Evaluating and management of squints in children and adults and operating on paediatric cataracts are my areas of expertise.
