Dr. Sadanand Shetty completed his MBBS from K S Hegde Medical Academy, Mangalore from the batch of 2004. He then pursued his Post graduation in Ophthalmology (MS) from Regional Institute of Ophthalmology, Bhopal and passed out with a Gold medal. He has obtained his long term Fellowship in Glaucoma from the prestigious Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai. He has presented papers at several national conferences. His areas of interest include Glaucoma awareness,Glaucoma diagnostics ,newer surgical techniques including implant valves, MIGS and developing novel therapy for glaucoma. He is currently working in the department of Glaucoma services in NN3, Indiranagar, Bangalore.
