She completed her medical education (MBBS)and Post-graduation (MS Ophthalmology) from Mahatma Gandi Institute Of Medical Sciences (MGIMS), Sevagram and DNB (ophthalmology) from New Delhi. She has completed her Long term fellowship in Cataract surgery, Refractive surgery, Advanced IOL fixation surgery, Paediatric cataract, Medical Retina and Translational Research from Narayana Nethralaya.
She is trained in cataract surgery (Phaco emulsification) with Premium IOL implantation, complicated cataracts, Secondary IOL Fixation and various types of Refractive Surgeries namely LASIK, SMILE, Trans PRK, Phakic IOLs – ICL/IPCL implantation, Refractive Lens Exchange) as well as Keratoconus management. She has presented papers, posters and videos in various International and National Conferences. She is a member of All India Ophthalmological Society, Karnataka Ophthalmic Society and European Society of Cataract and Refractive surgeons.
