My mother was diabetic and there was a diabetologist and cardiologist available at the hospital to counsel her and give her medication to control her diabetes levels. We underwent surgery the next to next week but everything was hassle-free. Initial consultation to insurance to surgery to post-op procedures, very happy and satisfied with the whole crew except for the doc who gave her the clearance (not our cardiologist and diabetologist doc – he was on leave that day). He seemed to be in hurry and didn’t even hear our concerns out but increased insulin and said u r good to go! 😀 We had to go to our family diabetologist again due to this and get the fitness( we were unsure until he also said it’s okay).
