For my cataract surgery, Narayana Nethralaya, Rajaji Nagar was highly recommended when I enquired with people.When I went for the first appointment, I was overwhelmed by the number of people entering, milling around/ seated and exiting. Felt like a railway station! Having said that, the interior areas were neat and clean and there seemed to be an organized method in place. The entire hospital seemed to be run like a well- oiled machineThe staff- be it admin or medical- were trained and competent. Most importantly, they were caring and attentive to patients’ needs. Their entire process appears to revolve around patient care and comfort- not entirely common in several other medical establishments.Now for my doctor- Dr. Ravi Krishna Kanaradi. I was nervous when I went for the check- ups and a wreck when I underwent surgery. Dr. Ravi was calm and collected, reassuring, and provided me with all appropriate information. Before I knew it, the procedure was completed and I was home!
This has been my best hospital experience ever (and I have been through a few).. No wonder it is rated among the best hospitals in Bangalore for ophthalmic care. I am a fan!
