We had a very good experience. My grandmother’s and mother’s cataract surgery was done here. Both of them are very much satisfied with the vision after surgery. The doctor and the staff team is very good. Once we enter the rest will be taken care by the staff.

Polite staff and very good experienced doctors. Variety of modern equipments for tests and check up. A well managed parking lot present. There is a cafe inside the hospital near the waiting area. Beverages and food available. Spectacles can purchased in the hospital it self as they have a Ben Franklin store inside. Nice service and good experience.

Sir/Madam, I have one very sincere, humble and honest suggestion in the interest of your institution and as well for patients. I visited your hospital during Dec-2019 and Jan-2020 on a 2nd & 4th Saturday. I have myopia and astigmatism and other associated problems since my boyhood days. Off late I started developing multifocal vision problem as I am on the age of 45 which mean I need Short, Intermediate/computer and Long vision issues too. Though I was wearing progressive lenses which was prescribed through other one reputed hospital As my eyes were getting strained heavily due to this syndrome I was always feeling my eyes were exhausted and always felt the eyes dry. Your doctors and Optometricians were unable to observe and understand my issue. Instead they wrote pricey imported eye drops to stop the dry eye syndrome. Later I visited my old hospital wherein I got highly personalized attention from the doctor herself. Finally the doctor prescribed me two glasses on
on my specific request. i.e. one is for Short & Intermediate vision and another one is for long distance vision. Now I am fine though I am using two glasses. I am thinking to go for Lazer/Smile treatment to discard specs in near future. The main problem I observed in your hospital is one single doctor is not attending to the patient. Patient has to go across multiple doctors, Multiple optometrist. Your hospital system work like factory assembly line management system which is not good for a hospital setup. Your staff/professionals feeds/punches the eye test readings in the networked computerized environment and the same is seen by other professionals in other department. Even a small typo error lead to a big confusion and cost heavily to the patient. Even in my case they wrote wrong spectacle prescription. When I asked how come such a huge difference came in spectacle power, they answered saying whatever glasses are I was comfortable with during reading, that only they wrote. I felt something wrong in that prescription, Hence I did not go buying with that glass.

Truly speaking our experience at Narayana Netralaya , Bannerghatta Road is excellent . The Eye surgeon,Anesthesist,, Councellor and the support staff who attended my brother’s left and right eye surgery for cataract were very supportive, showed extreme care in assisting my brother throughout the surgery and the surgery process was exemplary. All the very best Narayana Netralaya.
