Everything in this facility is world class
The hospital is extremely well run with well defined processes. We literally didn’t have to wait at any counter or seek for any help as everything was automatic and help staff continued to guide us. Dr. Naren Shetty performed the surgery and he was extremely meticulous and courteous in his work. The surgery went extremely well and even the post-op care was taken of. Everything in this facility is world class.

I underwent LASIK laser surgery at Narayana Nethralaya Bangalore, RajajiNagar in July 2023, and I am writing this review after almost 1.5 years. I used to have very high prescription power and couldn’t see anything clearly beyond four feet. It was always a nightmare wondering what would happen if I lost my spectacles after leaving the house. Since the surgery, I am able to see everything clearly. Sometimes, I still can’t believe that I’m able to see distant objects with just my bare eyes.

I wish I knew about this hospital sooner
I underwent silk surgery from Dr.Rohit shetty sir, it was not painful and I wish I knew about this hospital sooner ,so that I can done the surgery long ago. The hospital and the staffs were very friendly and I have known so many things about my eyes I had not known before. I recommend this place to all who are looking for lasik surgery.

I have undergone the LASIK surgery under Dr Rohit shetty sir on the 3rd of December 2024. There was a lot of fear before undergoing surgery, but once I entered into the OT the assurance offered by the doctor and the staff relieved my nervousness a lot and today the next day after the surgery, the vision is becoming completely clear and I really want to thank Narayana Nethralaya for giving me the vision back which I had thought would have never happened. I also want to bow my head with gratitude to Dr Rohit shetty and the staff of the Narayana Nethralaya for treating me with kindness and compassion. Dr Naren Shetty is an amazing doctor. highly qualified and very caring and supportive to the patients. The support staff is well trained and very helpful. The process from the time of entering the hospital till the discharge was very smooth. The surgery was successful and was almost painless. The doctor’s involvement throughout the process was very attentive. He gave enough time to understand our queries and gave solutions with lot of patience. Me and my family are very much satisfied with the overall management in the hospital and wish all the best to the hospital and Dr Naren Shetty and support staff.

Your FAITH shall HEAL U…….Dr. Ravi Krishna Sir did a wonderful cataract surgery for my father and Dr. Sathi Devi A.V Madam is doing excellent in handling of glaucoma conditions since years together for my father with angle closure glaucoma and Dr. Padmamalini M madam is doing superb regular follow up and treatment for my dad in Uveitis and ocular immunology services.

Narayana Devalaya
Narayana Devalaya is a charitable hospital under Narayana Nethralaya Eye Foundation established with an aim of providing free surgeries, glasses, and medicines to the underprivileged sections of society. It has no cash counters but offers ultramodern operation theatres with services of the best eye surgeons, to BPL cardholders.
SMART school screening
Regular vision screening for school children is essential to detect and treat conditions such as refractive errors, infections, cataracts, squint, colour blindness, and genetic eye disorders. Eye Banks
Dr. Rajkumar Eye Bank and Shankar Anand Singh Eye Bank function under Narayana Nethralaya Eye Foundation. Both were established with the purpose of creating awareness about the importance of eye donation and to facilitate the collection, processing, and distribution of donor eyes to people suffering from corneal blindness.
Retinoblastoma
Narayana Nethralaya Eye Foundation works in conjunction with Iksha Foundation and Mazumdar Shaw Cancer Centre to provide comprehensive treatment to children with eye cancer. KIDROP
It is India’s first and the world’s largest telemedicine program to address retinopathy of prematurity and prevent blindness in infants. It is a public-private partnership(PPP) between Narayana Nethralaya and the Government of India and has won the “PPP of the Year” in 2012 and the National Award for Excellence in Health Care for Outreach in Rural Areas in 2016.
